Quick question. So what exactly is cueing a track? I think it's getting a track started while another is still playing? Im not exactly sure. And how would you do that on the Numark Mixtrack (not pro)? Thanks!

There's plenty of info on the internet if you search for it. There's a site called Google that's quite popular for that.
I'll explain anyway. The idea of cueing is to listen to a track in your headphones without having it play through the speakers, so that you can make sure it's the track you want, decide at what point you want it to start (for example avoiding an intro that has no beat) and also to set the track to the same tempo as the previous one, by changing the pitch - if you want to mix.
To do this with your kit, you'll need an audio interface with at least two stereo outputs - one for the main output (that your audience hears) and another for the headphones (that only you hear). The Mixtrack Pro has this built in - the Mixtrack doesn't.

I know I'm going to sound like a noob when I say this but is there any way that I can even cue with the equipment I have? (Virtual DJ Pro, Numark Mixtrack as a midi controller for VDJ, and other crap like Numark NDX 400 and Behringer mixers) By the way thanks for all your help :)

So there's pretty much no other way with the Numark Mixtrack? Because theres a spot on the controller for cueing.

The controller has cue buttons, yes - but it doesn't have a sound card.
Therefore you need a sound card to cue, because cueing requires TWO stereo channels and a typical computer only has ONE stereo output.
One workaround is to use a Griffin DJ cable (or similar) to split the stereo output into two mono channels, but it's a compromise.

Another solution would be for you to buy a USB sound card, in the sound config you could set one sound card for main output and the other for cueing. I keep a couple of Turtle Beach USB sound cards in my backpack for emergencies, the sound quality is OK.
I know Wal-Mart isn't the ideal DJ retailer but they do have USB sound cards at a reasonable price and the stores are everywhere.
