I've used gigatribe for quite a few years now to allow vdj users direct access to my visual files and custom made videos, over the years there have been nearly 300 users regulary poping in to pick up files. That is until recently where giga continually seems to be shutting down and coming out with new versions and even updating on the same day.
Personally I think it is on the way out which is quite a shame, they are also now limiting peoples downloads to a small amount which they have never done in the past.
So does anyone know of a reliable free f2f (friend2friend, not bitorrent) software out there that they could recommend, I don't want to use the cloud as that is a little inconvienent and most come with a capped upload limit.
I've looked at oneswarm but that appears to be shutting down also.
Any suggestions will be much appreciated

I don't want storage, I want people to be able to access directly to my computer.
Thanks anyway.

Tayla,
Skydrive and dropbox share and sync your folders to the cloud. So once sync'd you don't need to eve. Have your PC turned on.
You edit/create directly in the folder and let the software do the rest.
Dropbox even has built in version control so you can restore older versions...
Cheers,
Roy

I really like dropbox for this propose as well. I use it to send my mixes out to various online stations. i send them a link and they can access any of my mixes within that folder.

Ton-E, have you used the registry tool to move your Virtual DJ folder to Dropbox?
That way all you tracklistings, playlists, mappings, etc are backed up...
Cheers,
Roy
