Hello all video users,
Is there anyone out there that broadcasts video?
If so, how have you solved it?
I'm looking for a solution to stream in-house through VidBlaster.
Any suggestions?

A nice way is to use Ustream, Livsetream, listen2myradio or younow.
All of them can grab the videooutput on computer side and stream it.
The viewer can then watch your mix.
If you have powerfull computer and a good upload connection, there should be no problem.

It still appears that we are not going to get any video back and I just wish someone would admit it, then we would all know what to do !.
Been going on for far to long now.

Please do not post your complains to irrelevant threads. Your post has nothing to do with Video Upstream/broadcast.

If you don't mind, what do we need to do to be able to output the video mix directly to video streaming? PM me if need be!

I have try this but to much CPU power to it.
My solution is an HDMI splitter on the video signal to my external display and a HDMI capture to another laptop. The advantage of this solution is that I can run VidBlaster on my streaming laptop and I can use rec output of my Pioneer mixer as sound in on streaming laptop. VidBlaster allows me to make very professional "TV like" presentations, including advertise on upcoming events, ads from local contractors, live or recorded images from external cameras etc. and production streamed without taking power from the VDJ PC.
It may not be the cheapest and most convenient solution but it seems to work.
We will test broadcasting in the coming weeks!
Soon, you can see my live shows over the internet. :D

I've used 2 laptops myself. I hook up a Sabrent Video & Audio Capture device that also has its own capture software as well. The unit can capture simtaneously while outputing video to another screen. I USB the unit to my second laptop which acts as a VCR and broadcast with Manycam, Ustream, etc. Hopefully there will be a more simpler way to do this lol

@ jeffrey tedder & Killbah,
I shared some information in this post here, http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/173334/Music_Video_Discussion/video_streaming_to_ustream.html
ustream is mentioned specifically but will work for other video streaming sites. the applications I mention are free and pretty simple to use.
Good luck,
Tim
