Because I'm a musician, I've been asked to DJ an 40th anniversary wedding party (the couple is in their 70's) in about 6 weeks. Woah . . . what do I do?
I'm supposed to be therre for about 6 hours or so. Of course, I know I need to select a lot of musc and learn how to use the Virtual DJ, but can someone help me with about how many songs I should try to put together to do an event like this and for this long?
I'm gathering a lot of CD's from which to select songs; I'm guessiing I just put my selected songs into my computer, then start learning to use the program. I'll run from my computer through an exteral AKAI sound unit; I guess I'll need to go from that into a sound system.
If someone could walk me through this, or point me to a site for help, I'd really appreciate it; never done anything like this before! sort of exciting!
