Since updating to 7.4 and following the instructions from the original update thread I still was not able to get my mixer working. Soooo...here's how I got it fixed.
Simply flipping the Line/PC/Mic switch to another source, then back to PC that seemed to do the trick.
Kinda wonky, but it seems to work.
Unless anyone else has a permanent fix (and yes, I have deleted the mappers, and updated the firmware, even switched skins), this will have to do for now.

If you are using a 2 deck skin, you will need to install the updated native mapper: http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/15822/Pioneer_DDJ-SX_(Native).html

I did download the new native mapper. Still, no luck.
PS. Nice work on this! The response on the jogs is the best yet. Now if only we can get this small bug fixed, I'll be a happy camper.

Did you previously use Phantom DJ's mapper in v7.3? If so, you will need to delete its definition file from My Documents\VirtualDJ\Devices otherwise it will conflict. Phantom's latest version of his mapper now uses the native definition.

just to just to clarify: if i want to use PhantomDeejay's mapper, i Download mapper and save it to Documents\VirtualDJ\Mappers
do i have to have anyting in : Documents\VirtualDJ\Devices ?
and i have 7.4 install and ddj-sx switched to serato mode..

If you want to use my mapper you just have to install it on your system.
The new version of the mapper uses the default definition and you MUST NOT have any file inside the \Devices folder.
Also your unit must be still in SERATO mode!
