Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

I downloaded the home version and have a few questions before I buy. some background on myself, I have been Djing sence the early 80's with a few years of radio and club as well (this in the 80's) in 2001 I switched to computer Djing with BPM pro that I still use. I really like the looks of this program and I am thinking about switching so here are my questions.
1) does this cross fade in auto from one deck to the other, I can't get it to do it in the home version
2) does each deck have it's own music tray to put music in for standby or do you have to load each deck after every song
3) Still playing so I am sure I'll have more questions soon

Thanks for your help

been there and in the game as long as you , love the fact that VDJ is here makes spinning at my residency (which also uses VDJ) a snap.
as to your questions.

Automix function with mix the tracks in the playlist on one table. a controller and VDJ pro will allow you to crossfade from one to the other.

2) does each deck have it's own music tray to put music in for standby or do you have to load each deck after every song

there is a playlist and SIDE list ... you have to load the tracks to the deck manually ...

3) Still playing so I am sure I'll have more questions soon

Automix in VirtualDJ takes place on a single deck, allowing you to use the other(s) for normal mixing, preparing next track, karaoke, etc. Please see the user manual for further details: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/PDFManuals.html

However, there is a depreciated action automix_dualdeck that enables a very basic fading automix using both decks. To try it, map a keyboard shortcut to the action automix_dualdeck. You can now press the key to turn this feature on/off.

As above, VirtualDJ doesn't have separate playlists for each deck. There is a playlist to the right of the browser, which is used by automix (The next song will be loaded automatically from this when automix is active, and you can move them around to change the order.)

There is also a separate sidelist. This can be used as a place for keeping requests, songs you may want to play later, etc. Songs must be manually removed from the sidelist.

Thanks for the Help, I did find my way around the Home version this past weekend and really seem to like it very much. I have a Denon DN-x1500 mixer right now and would like to hook them up to see what I can control with this mixer. thanks for the owner manual.
