Tópico: remove cdj while still playing from that deck ?

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

hey, say its the last bit of your set and your running tracks off both cdjs. is there a way to disconnect both cdjs whlie letting the tracks play out thru just vdj? it be helpful for swapping out, i know traktor has an option to just switch to cpu or internal or something like that. thanks

Are you talking about CDJs as MIDI/HID controllers, or CDJs controlling Virtualdj by timecode vinyl/CD?

good call, im talking about cdjs or turntables with timecode vinyl/cds thanks

If you disconnect the cdj or turntable you disconnect the timecode, you disconnect the timecode, you disconnect the music. If you disconnect the music, you disconnect from the party. If you disconnect from the party, you just disconnected in genreal.

Bottom line... Dont disconnect your cdj's or turntables While You Are Playing!

Hope this helps.

I bet he's feeling disconnected now!

I just had a thought: Why not play your last track from a sampler slot, or a third VDJ deck?

Her wants to know if He can play a song in Internal mode like Serato but, with Virtual DJ. In Internal Mode, You can disconnect a CDJ or a Turntable and have the song playing on its own.

do u mean swapping dj sets from vdj to someone else using the cdj's or from one lappy to another?

ya calientes got it. im running cdjs with timecodes and then next man is running tech 12s. if vdj could go internal like serrato or traktor, than i can make my last mix, go internal, and pull the cdjs, and while the tracks finish the tech 12s are getting placed. is it possible on vdj?

I believe he told you that already, but if you need the 411 on that, ask him to share?

I'm gonna assume your using a soundcard other then your cdjs, if so you just switch one deck at a time. We do it all the with turntables, heck we evenevenswap out soundcards and laptop.
All you should need to do is pull the inputs (cd input) on one deck then plug in the turntable. Rinse and repeat for the other side and you should never have to stop the music......

either i am misunderstanding that qoute or I think you have taken it out of context. i believe when caliente refers to internal mode, it is in serrato not vdj?

yes for sure beatbreaker, that would be the norm. the scenario came up when running both decks to the end of the set. cant disconnect one without losing sound. the next man up had traktor, he started on internal, then we then swapped in turntables.

and yes for sure, both with external sound cards
