Hi,
I always use VDJ in my sets and tonight I'm using:
Maya44 USB SoundCard
Pioneer CDJ1000 x 2
Pioneer DJM800
MacBook Pro
However, the guy before me is using CD's and I'm not really sure how we can switch them over without turning off the music during the process.
Any ideas would be much appreciated,
Thanks

Swap out one CDJ at a time...
Start by having everything powered up and connected with the MAYA44 just without any CDJ's connected. You should be ready with the output RCAs already connected to the MAYA ready to go.
As the other DJ starts his last track on one CDJ, unplug the other from the 800, in to your MAYA and the output RCA's back in to the 800. You now have one deck good to go. Load up your timecode CD and cue up your first track.
Once your playing your first track, repeat the process for the other CDJ.
And if the DJ after you is using other software or audio CD's simply do the same again, one deck at a time.
I've seen this done countless times - its nothing new.
Cheers,
Roy
