Has anyone gotten a downloaded I Tunes Karaoke song to work on VDJ or does anyone know where to purchase karaoke songs per song on line that are compatible?

It depends what you mean by 'compatible.'
There are plenty of lyrics videos available and they are compatible. In fact, This month's Promo Only Hot Video (July 2013) includes 3 lyric videos. There are also PLENTY available on YouTube, both official and unofficial, though I will not comment on the legality of downloading and/or playing those.
Probably your best best though, if you don't have a collection already is to try the ContentUnlimited karaoke subscription. I have had some trouble with some of those karaokes, but VDJ is addressing the ones with problems and has added a facility for reporting the problems.

The Karaoke tracks you get from iTunes are Audio only...They don't have tracks with lyrics that I know of?
