Tópico: I've solved my issue with SAV cd+g files!

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

I have been having a problem with some of my old SAV series karaoke discs which I'd ripped to mp3 + cdg files. The problem was that the title wasn't displaying at all (just a flickering cursor running all over the screen) and several copies of the lyrics were displayed at the same time.
The problem was multiple channels. The Red Book standard (ISO 60908:1999 for the curious) defines 16 channels for the Write Font and Exclusive Or Font packs. The standard goes on to say that players that do not provide graphics channel selection should display only channels 0 and 1.
Analysing a .cdg file that wouldn't display properly, I found alternative graphics on channel 2, which VDJ happily tries to display. So I have written a simple conversion utility that reads the file, replaces any unwanted graphics channels with Zero packs and writes to a new file . A day's work in Visual Studio and hey presto, I can use my old karaoke files again!
