I have two questions first off once in a while will I do Karaoke but I am a VJ Mainly and when I aint doing Karaoke I was wandering if there would be a way to show just video file and not Karaoke ones too like when I am searching the Compatible Folder when I click on it it gives me all files and secondly I would like to hear some of the folders that other users use to see if maybe some of us other dj's could use them too thank you everyone

Couldn't you just right click the eye icon next to the search bar and then click "show video" and/or 'show karaoke"
 
It depends on the format of your karaoke files. If they are CDG (MP3+G) format, then the above will work.

However, if you are using video karaoke files, then VirtualDJ will have no way to be able to distinguish these from normal video files.

One solution would be to put 'Karaoke' in the comment of the karaoke files, which you can then filter by (And also see clearly when searching/browsing if you have Comment column enabled in the browser.)

Another is to put your karaoke on an external drive, which you can plug in when needed. When unplugged, the files on it will not be part of the database and will not show up in the browser.
 
K thank you very much guys for some reason I didnt even think of the eye option I thought it only gave you an option for video or audio not karaoke too but that makes it so much easier trying to navigate through all your files was ruff. what were some of the other filters people use I have BPM Folders and Most recent 200 intead of 50 cause I download songs daily so 50 is only half the week but share some of yours. Thank again to everyone
 
how do I get the karaoke to show up on my television so the singers can see the words? thanks
