There are a number of historical threads on this issue, but being a tad thick I couldn\'t get my head around why my microphone output is not being broadcast along with the broadcast stream.
so problem = microphone not audible on broadcast output
Hardware = DN-MC6000 with microphone connected to Mic 1 input

I have tried to bring the microphone output back into virtual DJ via input 1&2 so VDJ as the input to include in the broadcast, but my intuition tells me I've got the wrong end of the donkey.
Anyone care to "point me in the correct direction"?

If you see http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/154017/General_Discussion/Recording_Problem_with_Virtual_DJ_Denon-MC6000.html, you will see what you need to do.
Ignore the BUTT bit unless you want to record as well, but you need to set the record loopback. This will bring the mic back from the 6000. It will also bring back anything plugged in to the other channels and enable you to broadcast them all.
Cheers,
Roy

Thank you for that Roy. Yours was one post I hadn't come across, AND is has pictures which work better in my head.
That should get me sorted.
