Hye everyone...
I JUST got my DDJ SX.
I took it out the box, hooked it up to the MBP and had a short go with it.
What I noticed right off the bat is that the up/down fader caps are all loose.
They do not come off easily but they all wiggle up and down.
Anyone else have this issue?
My DDJ SX came pretty much straight from Pioneer so it's not a used unit or an old stock unit.
I've never seen a fader cap with wiggle in it. It's always been either tight or loose but not Wiggly.
Also...
I am looking for CHROME colored knobs for my DDJ SX. Chroma Caps has many colors but NOT chrome.
Anyone know where I might be able to find CHROME metal knobs for my unit?
Anyone know where I might be able to find fader caps that FIT?

Mine was actually hard to pull off when I switched it out for the "glow in the dark" Chroma Caps.
Have you tried contacting Pioneer? Since you just got it, its under warranty. They can send you new ones until you can find your Chrome caps.

Pioneer is being a pain in the butt.
They saying I have to either bring it in or mail it to a service center. They said anything that might have to be replaced or repaired neefs to go that route.
I think they put the wrong fader caps on the up/down faders.
I looking for chrome knobs to replace the bass treble high knobs.
How did the faders work out for you? How do they fit?

Only one of my caps is busted as the power supply bounced around in the case and broke it. You are right the only weakness of this awesome controller it the fader caps. There cheap.
I asked Pioneer to mail me 5 Pitch fasder caps instead as these are much better quality. But please do me a favour if you source the chrome caps I am interested as well.

Mine are the same way. I've never had an problem with them falling of during a gig but I can see it being an issue in the future.
