hi i cant seem to sync both tracks together even tho the tempo says its the same and it used to be fine with the same tracks before.

The SYNC button matches the cbg of the songs. Those are the dots you see on the waveform. Try to re-analyze your songs, or manually edit eh cbg phase in case its incorrect, using the BPM Edit window.
