Tópico: Just a very early request for Mapping

So I purchased a NS7 II yesterday at the show. Talked to Chris from Numark who is one of the, if not lead designer for the unit. He said there is no mapping yet for VDJ only for serato DJ, waaaaaaaaa

Im not worried, I know the crew here will have that solved in no time, but I would definitely prefer sooner than later. Ive used Denon my entire carreer and still absolutely love my 6000, but i want to be able to do more. So with a new brand, and new software, im gonna be bangin my head against the wall.

You lucky dog I currently use the NS7 I but when they released all the info at Namm 2013 I had the money went to buy it and they said sorry gonna have to wait until August and of course now I have spent that money on other toys LOL. So now I am waiting until January pry see how everything pans out see what peoples opinions are and etc. so I have to ask you one simple question how heavy is it I was hoping it would be alot lighter. and once you get a chance to play around with it let me know what you think of it
 
Yeah man lucky you lol anyway let us know what you think about it. I too have the first gen NS7 as well as the V7s. NS7 II should be released soon end of August I presume?
 
I def will fellas...Im sure I will be posting some issues and have tips and tricks questions for you current users out there. If you want to steer me in the right direction just PM boys.

Its the same size as it fits in the original NS7 case. They were giving that away as part of the promo - dont know if they did that with NS7 1

Its a beefy unit. Solid. definitely a lot heavier than the 6000! I was going back and forth with the pio DDJ - SX but once I played with both, money and weight was a non-issue for me. So what if the cable bill is late for the next 6 months who needs TV!

Chris from Numark said he was supposed to be talking with some guys here at VDJ and getting the mappers a unit to start working on one, but said that most likely by the time I get mine it would not be VDJ ready.


MixinMuzic - October 1st which means I should have it by the 3rd since it will ship from Hackensack NJ and I live about 1.5 hours away.

So let me get this right they gave you a brand new case for your NS7 II for purchasing it there at the DJ Expo but you still haven't got it and you don't know a date when you are gonna get it yet

Correct. I put $150 down on my CC. But I know when I will have it. The unit and case will ship Oct 1. Since it is pretty local I should have it no later than the third.

I did get a free Tshirt as well...at the show
 
all the new toys are awesome. Im starting to miss the old days of records from record pool and no auto anything but beer delivers to the dj booth.
