Tópico: Best DJ software to buy on a budget? - Page: 1

Esta parte del tópico es antigua y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

I'm sure alot of my posts seem the same but bare with me as I am brand new to going all digital

As I stated in a previous post I just purchased a Numark Mixtrack Pro (should be delivered by tomorrow) and it is bundled with Serato Intro

I'm not all that familiar with Serato....I've been using VDJ home for a few weeks while shopping around for a controller and my fault for buying one not bundled with VDJ but I got it brand new at a great price

I would like to stick with VDJ as I have become a big fan but I don't want to spend $300 for it

I have about $100-$150 to spend for software......Any suggestions?

I don't normally do this but Use www.mixxx.org until you save up enough money then come back and join us.

I gave you two suggestions in your other post. Reloop Beatmix or Hercules Rmx2. They both offer a discount to Pro.

Did you contact support to see if they would give you a LE serial like I suggested in your other thread?

Keith

Thank you very much for the info

And I did check out those controllers you suggested but like I said I found a Numark Mixtrack Pro for a great price brand new so I went with that

Now I'm just wanting different software because I'm not a fan of Serato that the controller comes with

I really do appreciate all the help I have gotten since I joined the VDJ forum

Just now got around to contacting support so now I am waiting for a response

Thank you very much for the suggestion

View this as a teachable moment. Is it still a great price, if it doesn't come with the software you want? This is not a life or death situation, a little thought goes a long way.

it's a free country ,you don't have to think, if you don't want to

Thank you my brother, I am crying. I can't stop laughing. I am going to copy this, so I can read it next week or next year, and it will still be funny.

thanks Rick glad u liked it

whenever someone offers up some stupid advice or has a clueless request i try not to think of them

as a dumdum or a fish-face i just remind myself they are exercising there constitutional rights.......

There's been a lot of exercising going on lately......

Thanks everyone for all the help and I hope patience for putting up with all my questions since I am new to using a controller

The good people of VDJ hooked me and I am now using VDJ Pro and last night I used my Mixtrack Pro and VDJ for the first at a gig

Now granted I have only learned pretty much the basics of the controller but it helped keep the party going

Excellent news, welcome to Pro, hope you enjoy using it :)

Keith

Yes welcome to the club, some advice..... Read all you can on the forums and be as descriptive as possible when asking for help.

Oh and practice, practice, practice......

Glad it worked out for you. Spend a little money now, and you will make it back with the gigs you get. You can offer more with pro, so you can charge more. Practice, practice, and then practice some more, it will be well worth it.
