When I am out working doing a karaoke night I connect laptop to tv by vga cable.
When first comes on tv my screen saver there however when I play a video or karaoke track on tv and the track finishes there is just a black screen.
I know there is a way to play the tracks and when it finishes my screen saver should reappear but do not know how to do this.
Can anyone help please?

You will need to configure VirtualDJ with a video effect to use while playing audio files, such as clipbank (With suitable video clip), slideshow (With suitable images), sonique, etc.
To do this, go to CONFIG -> Video and choose the appropriate effect in the drop-down Use this plugin for audio-only files
Please note that you will need to purchase the full VirtualDJ Professional to be able to play karaoke full-screen (Otherwise you are limited to a small video output window.) VirtualDJ Home FREE is for non-commercial use only and cannot be used at gigs where you are being paid.
If you have already purchased VirtualDJ Pro, then please register your Pro serial number to your account http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download the latest version from the Download Center: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html
