Tópico: Serial code - just need some advice and re-assurance?

I am aware there already is some topics for this, however I'm still quite confused..

I've just bought a second hand DDJ-Ergo V from someone off Gumtree. I've just put in my licence code on the download center to install the program for it and that's now downloading and that's great.. However I'm quite worried as to when it comes to my serial code? As it is already used, will it be accepted on the program I'm currently downloading and will I be able to successfully use these decks?

I'm really quite worried as I've been saving for these decks for ages and I've finally got them and now I'm worried that I can't use them?

Help and advice would be extremely appreciated! thanks

P.S I do have the serial number on the back of the decks etc

yes you will be fine... The only place that the serial really can get locked to one user is on the forum. The deal with VDJ is that you can reuse the serial, but you cant transfer the registration to another user. You have the registration so you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

What makes you think that?

If it had been used (registered here) by the original owner then the serial number wouldn't have been accepted. It would have stated that it's already registered.

I guess it is possible that the previous owner had installed the software but not registered it here - but that's his problem! He won't be able to use it without the Ergo.
