Tópico: Mapping the Numark Ns7 II

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Anyone have an idea of how long it typically takes for a new popular controller to get some VDJ love? It looks like the NS7 II is coming out soon and I'm looking to upgrade, but not quiet savvy enough to map a whole controller on my own. I have the DDJ SX, and still havent' been able to get it to work like it should. My NS7 works great, but I need the four channels.

I have my NS7 II on pre-order. WHen talking to Numark at the DJ expo a few weeks ago, They said they were going to try and get the mapping guys here at VDJ a unit so it can be mapped and ready to go when it ships on OCT 1, dont know if that happened, but I'm hoping!

That's awesome. I'm hesitant to pre-order, don't want my money tied up until I know it's working correctly.

I only had to put $150 down to hold it. They will charge my card at the end of the month so it ships on the first.

could be 2014 before we see an official map for it. I'm going to wait until I know all the bugs out before I put my money on it.

2015 MAYBE, WHEN VDJ IS RELEASED.. OUCH

Its a Nice Unit , It will be an Incredible Controller. If The Bugs Get Worked Out. all new controllers have a few bugs or glitches usually.. Im pretty sure a profile can be created except for the platters unless they have not changed

I'm pretty sure they are using the exact same setup with the platters Jamm. They look identical, and I can't see how it could be better. When using serato, I can't tell any difference between vinyl and the ns7 except for the size difference. I've was thinking that the basic functions could be copied from the old ns7 and the DDJ SX. I'm thinkin as long as its somewhat functional I'd use it over the ddjsx. I really prefer moving platters, and the pitch bend buttons are missing on the pioneer, so you have to use the side of the wheel to do it. I rub the wheels on the NS7 to slow down sometimes, but mostly I use the pitch bend and tap it to keep on track. I think I wouldn't mind the pioneer so much if I could get the pads to work, but as of right now I have to choose between working pads or horrible latency. I still have a ticket in with the devs to get it fixed, but I haven't heard anything in a few months.

Got the NS7II on Tuesday!LOVE IT!I actually used a 15% coupon at Guitar Center!!Anyways...Serato is cool and stuff, i just have been working with VDJ for ever!!Is there Mapping for it yet?

...any progress on Mapping the NS7 II to Virtual Dj? ...I want to buy one, but i'm not going to till theirs a mapping available for VDJ. ...i made the mistake of getting the Traktor Kontrol X1 MK2 before the mapping was available and I'm still waiting for someone to upload a mapping and it's been months.

I another thread it was stated that the 2 player option was finished, but the 4 player option was holding them up. It was 90% finished at that point this was about a week ago.

Ive had the player since its release and have not left the house with it because Serato is not for me...its a giant paper weight right now, lol

Serato is pretty good for accuracy and sound, but I don't like the browser. If I had to do an electronic set I wouldn't mind using it, but for my regular gigs, I'm still rockin VDJ on the old ns7. The NS7 II is a beast and well worth the money. You can still get a feel for the unit with serato. The mapper should be out really soon, I wouldn't let that stop you from picking it up. If they can't get the four decks working, maybe they'll release the 2 decks, since its almost done. I wouldn't be surprised if they were pretty much done with the four deck part by now anyways.

Hopefully they are still trying to figuere how to map
Filter looproll and touch button features or mapping to vdj8 :)
