When i record my mix, i can hear what i would through my headphones. Anyone got any ideas were im going wrong.

When im recording, i can hear what im mixing through my headphones, but as soon as i playback what iv recorded i can hear it through the speakers. dose that make sense? someone help

You've not mentioned the hardware you're using (and ComboMidi tells me nothing) but the usual reason for this result is that
you're using an external hardware mixer.
If you record in VDJ before the signal has been mixed on your external hardware, of course the recording will be unmixed.
You need to record from the output of your hardware.

sorry im new to this, im using Tibio dj pro 2000. I am using the record option on the controller, it sounds fine through the speakers when im playing and recording, but when i listen back to the recording is were the issue is.

That controller has built-in CD players and USB media support, so it has a real hardware mixer.
