Hello,
I am trying to get my controller (KAM Digi Two) to control both Virtual DJ and Ableton. I use this setup with Traktor by adding 2 virtual MIDI ports using LoopMIDI (1 for Traktor and 1 for Ableton) and using MIDI-OX to send the MIDI input to both virtual ports. That way neither program "locks" the real hardware.
When I try this same setup with VDJ the controller is no longer recognized. I'm guessing this is because the device definition file lists some identifiers from the real hardware and won't accept the virtual MIDI port being the device?
Is there anyway to achieve this?
Modifying the Kam device description possibly?
Even if I managed this does my controller use HID for the platters that I would then be missing out on?
Any input appreciated as I'd love to move from Traktor to VDJ
