Please read here.. http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Is%20MIDI%20controller%20NAME%20supported%20by%20VirtualDJ.html
If your dj software preference is VirtualDJ then you should have chosen one of the natively supported midi controllers .. http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VirtualDJ%20Controllers.html
Even though VirtualDJ is always trying to support all the controllers of the market, there are some times that this may not happen.
Native support of Pioneer DDJ-SB may come in the near future, but definitely, there is no ETA.
Have also in mind, that a license of Pro Full version will be required to use your controller, or even map the unit by yourself.

Pioneer DDJ-SB is already mapped, but the files are reserved to Pro Full registered users only. http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/16489/Pioneer_DDJ-SB.html
You will need a license of Pro Full version.
Basic, Broadcaster and Home Free versions do not support MIDI controllers.. http://www.virtualdj.com/products/comparison.html
