About 6 months ago, I sold my 2 DNS-3700's and got the Numark NS7. I did that partially because I wanted to learn Serato without spending $500 for an SL2 plus I was tired of hooking up 2 RCA's, 3 USB cables(including the mixer) 5 power plugs(laptop, mixer, 2 s3700's and mic), doing all that cable management(I didn't have a case), Etc. Now I just have 1 USB, 3 power cords, and no RCA outs. It's a MUCH quicker setup. Plus with the 3700's I often would have to reboot my laptop several times during the initial setup because the ASIO driver wouldn't initialize on both 3700's or both would initialize but only play out of 1 channel, or for some stupid reason the channels would be reversed(not the decks, the audio channels lol)...no clue why...it was a hassle....BUT...with all that said. I miss 9" platter, the flexibility to play CD's(which I had to use a few times), and I think the vinyl control FELT better on the Denons....Wish at times I could go back to my 3700's and my NOX404(which was an AMAZING mixer by the way).

I've bought and sold 3 sets of Technics SL1200 in my career. I got another set a couple of years ago and swear that I will never ever sell em again.

Sounds like a brotha need to get on board with the 1200's. I want a pair...but I dont know if I'd enjoy lugging them around. That said, I wouldn't mind pulling those puppies out (if I had them) for certain special occasions. I hopefully will buy a pair one day *sighs longingly* lol

I sold my Denon HC4500 & X500 mixer for my mobile gigs and I have to say I do regret it. I move to the NS6 and got rid of that. I tried the American Audio MXR19 and I can't live without the jog wheels. Now I am partial to the Hercules RMX 2. The only one pcs equip I truly felt was a waste of money even if I did buy it cheap was the Stanton SCS3.

Stanton scs 3 is a fun toy, was a neat idea, just wasn't supported well Can't say I regret buying it. Other than I played with it for a day or two and well its a paper weight that looks cool. Every once in a while I plug it in just to play with it but that is that.

Reloop 8000e that makes a Midi/ 1200 like turn tables. other than certain features, they are pretty much almost just like the 1200's in every way.. possibly even better not quite techs not sure how i feel about them though ... And no need for Dicer!!!!!!!!!! granted I haven't bought a set yet considering it though ;)
