I had an odd fault this weekend. I was DJing with 2 decks and everything was going fine for about an hour. I dropped a song onto deck 2 and when I hit play the pitch slider moved to the full position. I moved the controller pitch slider to full and back again and the song went back to its normal speed. I pressed cue ready to play the song and when I pressed play again the pitch slider moved again! This happened several times. I switched to 4 decks and dropped the song on to deck 4 and it worked perfectly so I played the rest of the night using decks 1 and 4. I checked the settings and couldn't find anything wrong. Anyone else had this?

Did you check if you had pitch lock activated?

Most likely, you have beatlock enabled to that deck. Check on the 2 Decks default skin in the SCRATCH panel. There are 2 padlock icons (Beatlock). Both need to be grey (off)
