They're two different things!
It's like asking if a car is better than a banana.
The RMX500 is an expensive stand-alone effects unit, more for DJs who use hardware than computer playback.
The Launchpad S is a bunch of USB MIDI buttons.
So.........do you need a car or a banana? :-)
