I have a chance to scoop up a Pioneer DDJ SR that comes with the Serato DJ but I will be using my VDJ Pro with with it. Is there a mapper already available once I purchase the new unit so that I have no hiccups, thanks as always to all the great VDJ helpers on here.

For Virtual DJ 7.4.1

Virtual DJ 8 - natively supports this controller - no additional download required.

- Install drivers
- Turn the unit to "Other Software" from the UTILITIES of the Pioneer unit.
- Install the mapper files http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/16423/Pioneer_DDJ-SR.html (only for version 7) !!! - for version 8 there is no need to do that.

Im using vdj8 and the ddj-sr. Mapped automatically. Works great. Only had it a week. Still trying to figure out whether to use my macbook or hp laptop. Both seem fine so far.

The reaaon why i asked is on one of the Pioneer Support sites there was no driver...only firmware. That prompted me to ask. After looking on the Pioneer DJ support site I do see the driver.
Thanks.

Home users are only allowed to use controllers for 10 minutes. If you want to use this controller, you have several options. A controller license, which only allows you to use it with this controller. A monthly subscription, that allows you to use any controller. A Pro license, for a one time fee, allows you to use any controller.
