Hi,
I am about to go pro with VDJ8 and have ordered a new laptop for the job.
The new laptop will have a SSD drive for Windows and a 1TB SATA hard drive for all the music.
My present laptop has just one big drive with everything on.
My question is this:
I have lots of virtual folders that I want to transfer across to the new system.
How will I go about this as they all will point to C:/users/dj/music/80s or whatever
but on the new system, although the ,music will be in exactly the same structure, it will be on the new drive. Probably D:/users/dj/music/80s or whatever
*the old laptop is Windows 7 as is the new one.

If the rest of your path to the music is exactly the same,
just open your database.xml with a text editor and search&replace C:\ with D:\.
