I've just upgraded from version 7 to version 8 and noticed that the new samples save as filetype .vdjsample instead of just .vdj. I've not noticed that one behaves differently than the other, but want to know if I move the old .vdj files that are in my main Sampler folder into one of the new subfolders like Audio or Instruments if they will still work normally and be recognized by the varous .xml folders that keep track of banks and groups.
Edit - It looks like I found my answer in the user guide...and either extension will be recognized. Sorry to trouble you. ;)
