Tópico: Video Bug in VDJ8...

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Hi, the bug is extremly simple..

My laptop has a dual video adapter...

When in battery mode, video adapter is an Ati... when in changer mode, video changes to Nvidia...

So, if i am working with charger on, and for some motive, the charger disconnects, video adapter changes automatically, then, VDJ skin becomes black...

Please advise!

Thankyou for this AWSOME program.

Best regards.

Please check Energy Save or Power Management settings. Maybe you have an option to change this behaviour.

Agreed, I have a similar issue and it is not just v8. You need to goto the Nvidia control panel and force the NVIDIA card in all places that you have an option for it.

Then there was a tab that allowed me to select what programs need to be forced NVIDIA only. Select VDJ and set to NVIDIA card. This part was an extra step, but for some reason needs to be done on my machine.

Hi,

Thank you for your replies, but, i don't think VDJ should act that that, anyway, of course, to solve the problem in a fastest way, i'm going to change the energy specs..

I still consider this as a bug, since all other programs work flawlessly..

Thx guys.

I had a similar experience.
I have dual cards in my laptop with switchable graphics. An ati card and a power saving intel card.
Using the default ati control panel which I could select which card to use per program didn't work. I found some things on hp forums saying the switchable graphics didn't work well on demand with some applications
I found in my bios to actually change it to select one or the other vs per app. Once I changed that and the. Change my PC to fully use the ati only it works fine for me. Then I just switch back to Intel when doing normal things

Not sure if your dual card issue is the same or not but check into some bios settings just in case
