if song A has no beat and song B does (song B is active) does it matter on the bpm for transitions . like song B is playing and is 128 now i want to bring song A in and it dosent have a beat just a melody and is 98 bpm can i just bring it in like normal or will this still sound bad?

Although a track may not have a beat, it usually will have a rhythm/tempo to the musical elements.
