Tópico: VirtualDJ & DDJ-WEGO - left pitch slider running double as master volume switch

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Hi,

New to all this. Bought a second hand DDJ-WEGO and playing around with it. Everything seems to work ok but I have this strange issue.

The master volume switch does not work. The only way I can change the output volume is to use the left pitch (tempo) slider. This cannot be the default behaviour because when I use the slider I also change the pitch level of the song on that deck. Bottom line is that if I use my WEGO I need to put the left slider to the maximum value (to get normal output volume) and cannot use it to manualy change the pitch level of that deck (or the output volume is cut off). Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem here?

Check the mapping to see which commands have been assigned to the pitch controls (compare the right with the left). Also check the mapping for the master volume.

This can only be done in the Pro version, right?

Which version are you using, and is it VDJ 7 or 8?

If you've got the WeGO working with VDJ then the mapping section should be visible to you.

It's version 7. I can only see mappings in the Pro version (started a trial) and going to CONFIG > SETTINGS > MAPPERS.

If I use the Key-Learn option, both the left and the right pitch slider are pointing to "Key: PITCH".

The PITCH key should have an action of pitch_slider and the MAIN_VOLUME key should have an action of master_volume.

You can also try reverting the mapper to factory settings (icon bottom left of mapping window).

Another option is to download 8 and try the WeGO out with that. If it behaves that way with 8 too, it may be an issue with the WeGO.

I have the exact same problem!
Right pitch fader does not respond either - and neither right fader nor master volume were responding to keylearn in v7.
Have flashed WEGO with latest firmware from Pioneer, and also (re)downloaded and (re)installed ASIO drivers.
Out of desparation am now downloading v8 to see what happens.
Am now wondering if this is a HARDWARE fault maybe ?! Am I wasting my time trying to get it to work?
:-(

Also I checked out the things "groovindj" mentioned and they matched.
