I've recently set up the broadcast info for an online station, bought a new headset...however, I'm not sure what the correct input and output settings should be. I get a terrible echo while talking; it doesn't seem to be going through the stream according to the station owner, but it's still annoying enough to hear in the headset when you're trying to talk. Fixing this issue is the only thing delaying my broadcasting, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
FYI, my current settings are: Inputs: Microphone; Outputs: Single Output; Soundcard: 4.1 card.

Latency. A delay between the input (your voice) and the output, caused by the amount of time the signal needs to pass through the audio interface.
Solution = buy a better audio interface. One designed for professional low latency use. On PC, look for ones that use ASIO.
