OH, now I see what I was doing wrong. It's working perfectly now.
Thank you so much for your help and also for this awesome plug in, it's the only reason I switched from serato to vdj.

freestyler works with script, so pads, custom buttons, poi they're all ways of delivering script.

just write the commands, categories are only there as a memory aide.

i do seem have an issue with freestyler8, mentioned it before her, got deeper in it today.
when enabling 'beats half speed', it does works fine but got stuck in it, cannot disable it.
tried to solve this with 'release all cues' in freestyler, no good.
restarting freestyler also didn"t solve it.
neither enabling, disabling, change settings in freestyler8.
unplugging the fixture also didn't solve the problem either.

the only way to solve this was restarting VDJ.

Beats half speed is function of the plugin, not freestyler itself.

Hi guys, the Script Generator is empty on mine. Anyone know how to get it working?
BTW amazing work... it have it currently working on Sound mode and can use black out cues. But id love see use the generator as it looks like it makes everything so much easier.

It's a bug - it's not actually empty, just the dropdown is really small. You can scroll it with a mouse or cursor keys though.

Any idea when the new version of the freestyler plugin is going to be released into the wild ? The beat divider/multiplier changes is something i am particularly looking forward too. Awesome plugin :-)

Good day. On the plugin download page it specifically states that this plugin works with PRO and PLUS. Imagine my disappointment when I purchased a PLUS license and this doesn't appear under the Master drop-down.. Not great from VDJ's side..
Scrolling through the messages, I see that you say there is a technical reason why this doesn't work with PLUS - is there a work-around or is a PLUS version a work in progress? This might save me carrying another laptop to control FreeStyler.

The Addon is probably auto-installed in the Plugins/AutoStart folder. I suppose you can copy the dll and paste it in the Plugins/SoundEffects one.
