Tópico: How does one get realtime support?

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

I have paid Good money for this software that i have not been able to use at my gigs since purchase, and i have not been able to contact Virtual DJ directly for support, been in a different country its difficult to email and wait for answers, talking 1 on 1 on phone or realtime is better, but it seems like once Vdj has your money they not interested in supporting any issues???? beware before purchasing i should have just gone with serato or 1 of the other well known brands...

The support can not be contacted by eMail - you can use the Ticket system, Chat support and YES - English phone support, too.

Just click the SUPPORT/HELP link in the navigation (right side): http://www.virtualdj.com/contact/index.html

correction i been in contact via the ticket, *I need the phone support but that has not been forthcoming yet, and this is now going on for months, really frustrating.

Try the chat support, got nothing but good words for those guys

Everyone wants to talk one on one, but that is not realistic. Most of us need help at one point or another, and find that the forum gets great results. Perhaps you could list your issue here, like most of us, and get the help you need. What do you have to lose?

Thanks that's what i'm doing but no real help yet using the ticket method is no help as im not at my PC 24/7, its so frustrating.

What problem are you having? If I can't help you, someone else can.

In a nutshell, i have been using the controller as per attachments for last 2 years, then i received a message that i need to upgrade to VDJ 8 which I had to do for $150 and as per attachment i receive the same message just about every time i tried to use it. by luck sometimes it connects and works but not all the time???

Have you installed the audio drivers for that sound card?

FYI your current "controller license" is intended for home use only. If you are using VDJ professionally, you require a Pro license.

See here -> http://www.virtualdj.com/products/virtualdj/price.html

That's all good about it been for home use but it doesn't even work at home?

does the device and soundcard show up under windows ?

What you mean in " My Computer"

yes... controller and soundcard properly detected by your OS ?
