How much do you have to spend?

Starting Off Prob Anywhere From 400/500 What All Equipment Would Be Needed To Get Started. & Thanks

400-500 of what currency? Where are you based?

Equipment needed to get started - with what? Are you planning to just mix at home in your room, or go out and DJ in clubs, or do mobile DJ work?

By the way, you do not need to Start Every Word With A Capital Letter.

I'm Based In The USA. N Yea I Kno That's Jus How I Type. & Starting Off Jus Dj'n At Home Then Maybe Whn I Get Gud Enuff Start Tryn To Hit The Clubs Or Lil Parties.

OK so 400-500 dollars for home use. Have you got any audio equipment already, like an amp and speakers?

U dnt nd 2 mss ltrs out either. Just write normally so people can understand. We're not all teenagers sending text messages.

No I Don't.

OK so from your budget you'll need to buy a controller of some sort, a license for Virtual DJ, a pair of powered monitor speakers and some headphones.

You might just manage it. Ideally someone from the US will now step in, as I'm in the UK so can't check prices so easily.

Ok Thanks. What Would Be A Gud Controller To Start Wit. Oh Yea I Have Headphones Beats Solo 2 Would They Work, Or Would I Need Different Ones.

You've got headphones - good, that's some money saved.

Your choices (of controller and speakers) will be limited by your budget. The cost of the VDJ license ($49 to $199) will depend on which controller you buy.

Can You Run VDJ Wit Any Controller? I Was Looking Around At Some On A Couple Sites, N Most Mentioned Some Other Software That Come With The Controller. & What Would You Think Would Be The Best One To Choose From In My Price Range.

The list of supported controllers is here -> http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VirtualDJ8%20Controllers.html

Have a look at some DJ equipment retailers sites for controllers in your price range, then check if they're on the above list.

A pair of small monitor speakers is maybe $100 for something basic, which leaves $400 for the controller and VDJ license.

If you can find a controller that comes with VDJ 7 LE then you could just use that and not need a license unless you want to use VDJ 8.

(The Pioneer WeGO 3 is around $300 and includes a download of VDJ 8 LE)

The WeGo3 actually comes with VirtualDJ8LE

Yeah, that's what I said :-)

Maybe you should start hiring some equipment and get the feel of it before you spend money on stuff that will be used as a bookstand later on.
Do you have any friends in the DJ'ing?

Thanks. I Went and Order A Ddj We Go 2 What You Guys Think As That Begin A Good Starter Controller

Did you just say that you ordered the WEgo2? Are you asking what we think about this controller? Please take your time when responding, and read it again before you send it.

Sorry But Yea That's What I'm Askin

I don't own it, but others on this forum seem to like it, and it's made by Pioneer, which means it is built well. My question to you, what made you buy this controller?
