I accidentally saved over an existing playlist with alot of songs already prepared, please tell me there is a way to restore that list!!

Not unless you have backed it up, pretty sure there's no way of recovering it.

if your windows 7 or 8 based, shadow copy should be turned on by default
go to the folder were the file was saved, right click it and select properties, you will see a tab that says previous versions, were you may be able to recover the previous version of the file
as I am not a mac user, I don't have a suggestion for this platform
