I have been wondering if there is anyway i can assign samples to specific decks, let me try and explain more on what i mean, for instance say i am using my VMS 4.1 and have deck a+b for my songs, could i then set VDJ up to use decks c+d for just samples and play them using my other 2 channels on the VMS.

you can assign at least one deck ( 3 or 4) of your VMS to Sample output:
