mic isnt working on the ns7 using v7 any ideas assumned it would didny check now i need it

What are you trying to do with the mic? In other words, what exactly about it is not working?
 
plugged in mic and nothing coming out.levels are up but nothing
 
On your skin click "Master" then click "ON" for the mic. Then go to your mic/aux on the front of the NS7 and turn that on.

Upon initial fire up I have a routine:
I hit the auto loops from white to red & rotate the source knobs on the FX from left to right and leave the left side on A and right side on B. I then slide all the faders up and down and the pitch. Don't know if it makes a difference, I just do it for peace of mind.
 
I just fired up 7.4.1 with the NS7 and the mic works just by turning it on and I haven't used 7 in years.
 
courious.......wonder if all my drivers are installed
 
Is your sound card configuration correct in VDJ? And yes, you should've installed Numarks drivers for your NS7.
 
did install the drivers .great sound from front of the house and monitor
 
Can't recall if the Microphone Input is a Hardware or a software (sound card ) one. Did you try to add the Microphone to the Sound Setup and turn it on from the skin ?
 
I did still nothing wonder if it it's an issue with the unit
