I just bought the Numark NV and I have been a pro member for many years. Why is it telling me I have to pay $150 to use the controller with the program?

If it's displaying that message, then you most likely haven't logged into VDJ 8 using your forum name/password - therefore VDJ 8 doesn't know who you are, and that you have a full license. If you've logged into VDJ 8 using another email address then that address needs to be registered to your account here for the same reason.
 
ok, do you have any tips on how to set this thing because I'm not getting full control like to play and scratch. I'm not familiar with the VDJ 8 setup yet and need to get this thing at least playing right so I can tweet it.

I bought VDJ years ago, still using it but, my laptop died. I have to re-install it but can't because I can't get to the old email. Please help?
