Over the weekend a fella came over, and told me he had a Pioneer controller with 4Tb of music on external hdd.
He wanted to plug into my system, and do a set.
Fortunately his relative, the groom did not seem to want that, and stalled him.
I doubt I would have refused had the bride and groom made that request.
Whilst the artist was on stage he wondered over with a table.
That was the height of ignorance, it was the ladies stage at that moment.
He was also persecuting the groom all night.
I was using a mc6000, and cannot afford to get into the latest is greatest game.
The mc6000 work perfectly.
Cdj's may be a way of keeping the wannabe at bay.
The problem is that I get little problems, thing are not consistent.
For instance deck 1 comes up as 2, then on the next occasion the order reverses.
When I plug in my F1 sometimes I get usb problems, and need to try to reconfigure things.
It could be a Denon thing, I've noticed some users have a lot of problems.
I need the decks to rival the perfection of the mc6000, and I'm struggling.
I don't have a spare 10min. to configure the decks whilst I'm setting up.
The mc6000 is a nobrainer for the mobile dj.
However some of my work is getting to be a little club like.

MC6000 is perfect for just about everything. I have used it in clubs for years and although more limited than newer controllers like the DDJ-SX2 I still find it the best all round workhorse.
The thing I like most about it is that you can have 2 full channel outputs rather than the SX2 and most other newer controllers requiring software mix. It gives a better sound overall.
