Not sure if this is the right place to post. Perhaps you could redirect me if wrong.
I am trying to use a Stairville DMX Commander 16/2 and having assigned a par can to dmx channel 1 with the dipswitch also set to 1 (this is just to get it working) I find that the only slider that does anything is the strobe. I cannot use red, blue etc independently... I am really lost here. I could really use some help. I have tried it also with other LEDs but same result.

This is VDJ site, not a DMX console site. Someone here might know a little something and help you but your best bet is to visit the site of the manufacturer of the console.
