I want to use a second microphone with American Audio VMS2.
Is there a way of hooking up the Behringer Euroback UB1202 to the VMS2
and use the Behringer to control the microphones?
One mic will be hard wired and the other will be wireless.

Guess should work so far, as long as you use the Mic Jack of the VMS just for loop through the Behringer Signal.
Make sure that the inpot of the Beringer to the VMS is approx midrange level, for the VMS has quite a good and powerful mic out level.
Adjust carefully both Audio Levels and it should be fine.

Into the Eurorack is the the part I am not sure of.
From the mic out on the VMS2 into where on the eurorack?

Duh that makes sense.
Thanks a bunch.

Whoah! If you're going to attempt this (connecting the main output of the Behringer to a mic input) make sure you keep the output volume level of the Behringer really low, because otherwise you'll just distort the signal by overloading the VMS mic input.

The master output of a mixer is way too high to feed into a mic input.

I agree with Groovin , big stlyle.
In this case it would be better to use the mixing desk properly, I'll try to explain;
VMS out to tape in, or better to channel 5 & 7, or even better to 3 & 4 on xlr
Mic in as you have it on 1 & 2
Master out to your amp, or active speakers, or whatever.

try it out, maybe you'll get a better signal and a better end result.

als already mentioned before the gains of both units must be adjusted carefully.
the VMS displays also the mic level on the Peak LED´s of the master out.
These can be used to adjust 0db max.
Set the channels on the behringer mic to no gain.
VMS Mic Gain about mid level ( no adjusts to the mic´s EQ )
then slowly increase main volume of the behringer.
If the LED´s on the VMS goes to quick into 0 or beyond ,
turn down the VMS Mic Volume and the Berhingers Master out in in proportion
until you get 0db at max peak.
But i see the other suggestion could work too ;-)

Yes Rob, you're right of course ... but, it's much easier to do it the other way round, to put all of your input signals into a mixer and the send one signal out to your speakers.
imho

possibly also a working solution ;-)

@ Rob, thankyou sir.
@ bogart, sorry I made a mistake there, I use a yamaha mixer and have a few more buttons/options ;)
it would be better for you to use the line in jacks on 3 & 4 than the xlr inputs.
It's just a case of buying the right cables to connect everything together
practice 'n enjoy

funny i had this situation pop up last weekend. my Denon MC3000 cross fader bit the dust. I had to break out the mixtrack pro and use my back up mackie 402-VLZ3. I connected one wired mic to ch1, wireless mic to ch2 and the mtp to line 3-4 (technically i could have even used a 3rd mic on the mtp) on the tape input i had my iphone with a track on "djay" ready to hit play in case VDJ or my mac crashed.

The VLZ3 sent a nice clean signal to the k12s. Was able to eq the mics when males spoke so it went pretty good.
