Hi,
I have an extra hard drive in my pc (assigned as 'Data (B)' but for some reason it's not saving any of the VDJ settings like cue points bpms etc etc.
Am I missing something simple here?
Many thanks

Maybe you don't have permissions to write on the drive.
Is your drive letter B?
If so, that is not a good choice.

Thanks PachN
I will check the permissions and see what's on there - The drive letter is B which was automatically assigned for some reason but I take your point and will change it in a mo

As you thought, A, B et C are protected letters, used for main computer devices.
It's better to start from letter D for external HD or network

I think there is another permission problem, using A or B as drive letter in VDJ 8 should not be a problem.

Thanks Guys
I've checked the permissions and I have Full Access - I've changed the drive to M now and done a scan a few files - once I've done a re-start I will see if they hold the information and post back.
For the record there is a VDJ DB folder on the drive so I'm assuming VDJ is seeing it
