I would like some help with finding the smallest most portable devices, 7 inches and under.
Since the minimum requirements call for a full windows 7 OS, am I right?
I don't want to sit at a laptop and would like to be able to open up programs while I'm away from home. (Ie. Vdj, acid and possibly reason).
I wouldn't mind using a stylus and would really enjoy something that could make this possible.
In hopes of upgrading from the free version and using a numark orbit.
That would be cool, lets say in the park or in transition between classes. The smaller the better. Seeing as how I am a little guy and have small hands.
I read there was someone who had seen an archos model in action. Anybody got

acid and reason are pretty demanding apps you will want at least a quad core CPU and probably 8G ram
what will you be doing in VDJ 8 audio only or video as well
if mixing video will be involved i am afraid u will need a laptop because i do not know of any tablet that comes with decent discrete graphics card ... i know the Intel cards can do it but not sure how dependable they will be......

I will def check it out. As far as the vdj goes, I'm not into the video stuff or anything crazy deep. I liked the layouts simplicity. And thanks for the input on acid. I was really hoping to get away from cubase because carrying around a box to lay tracks out is getting old.
I've gotten away from reason these days. Mostly figure if Id be using an old sound clip all I'd really want to throw on it is a basic drumline. The roland 303 was a favorite of mine but also kind of bulky for me today, always on the go and stuff

Lastly, since there are devices running on a full windows os any possibility of running the program on a windows 7 or 8 pocket pc, archos devices or umpc's with a stylus.
Not windows mobile or windows rt, but a full windows 8 or 10 phone id dedicate to using the vdj? And possibly one other program.
Only saying phone because the tablets are ranging in the 8 inch size these days. So possibly something older. With enough juice to play on the go. since they'd be a full OS I'd imagine its meets the minimum requirements. Right?
People are usually asking for an app to be designed, but I keep the idea in mind that there has to be a way around it. For the folks living out of their backpacks.

Quite a pretty penny there, huh boss. I did mention that I wouldn't mind using a model that was a bit dated. For all intents and purposes an old archos or a throw around windows phone with the windows 8 OS possibly even a 7. I'd even run an xp model. I was wondering if it'd work on one of these ol pocket pc's.
The program IS a good time. The only problem is I got bills too ya know. Haha.
So if you have any inclination about one of those models I'd be happy to take you up on that quote.
