Hi guys, recently I purchased the Numark Mixtrack Quad and am looking to build my own radio show sort of thing... To achieve this, I would need to use a microphone so I can speak about the music I play or speak to guests... I currently have a Samson GoMic or ZoomH2N which can connect to my PC via USB. I have had a look at a few different videos/threads on how to get a USB microphone working with VirtualDJ, but no joy as for now.
Will I need another microphone which can plug into the Mixtrack Quad itself? Or is there a way to set-up a USB Microphone?
Cheers.

Which version of VirtualDJ are you using , 7 or 8 ?
For version 8 , all you need to do is add a Microphone (mic) line to the Audio configuration and point to the USB sound card that your OS detects.
BTW, you will need a Pro Infinity, a Plus or a Pro subscription license of VirtualDJ in order to use your Mixtrack Quad http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html or else it will work for 10 minutes each time you start the software.
