Looking at new speakers and kind of decided on the QSC KW152, does anyone have any experience with these?

No used the QSC's but I have used FBT 152's and their great, some on ebay now.
No Ebay links please [Mod Team]

Why not qsc?

i,m looking at going qsc

I own 2 QSC K12 + QSC K Subwoofer. Very impressive ;o)
Did you test the K sub?

Funny enough i,m going to look at that option. Do you find the Ksub good enough , are you using 1 or 2 ksub?
What sort of crowd could that handle?
My options ( so i always have a backup)
2 x QSC KW152
2 x QSC K12 (spare)
SO no bass just use the 15 inch tops
OR
3 x QSC K12
1 x QSC KSub
Or
1x QSC KW181
3 x QSC K12

I have a pair of QSC K12's. Possibly the best sounding small speakers ever. A friend has a pair of QSC KW152's and a pair of KW181's. These will rock any event. QSC will be the best investment you could ever make.

Just to decide now on 12 inch or 15 inch, k12/kw122 or the kw152. Will go have a listen this week

If you're using subs, then go for the smaller tops as the smaller driver will suit the frequency range better.

IMO the larger full range cabs on their own will still not be equivalent to (or substitute) using subs.

Also IMO, the KSub isn't worth bothering with. It's not really a sub - the lows don't drop much below that of a typical full range cab.

Yeah, probably go with 1 x kw131 and 2 x K12, hopefully get to listen and buy some tomorrow, just not sure whether to get a spare k12 or not as backup?
Try lifting the Sub too at 40kg, should be ok lifting in and out of van, its on wheels so can use it as a trolley too ;-)

OK bought some K12 and 1 x KW181 sound pretty awesome to me. Debated the KW152 but size of speaker won the day. Pretty good bass without the sub, but that sub can certainly shift some air.

Well, gave them a run today, blimey they are pretty darn good. The tops sound amazing on their own with deep set, but with the kw181 these put out some seriously good all round sound. Now have had to pull back all my gains on mixer, as I can now put better eq through them. These will transform my setup, I think for weddings of 75/100 the tops would do on their own, with the bass bin I can see these coping well with 250 people on a dance floor.

What is wrong with ebay links?

I run 2 qsc K10s with one Ksub and they will handle any club of moderate size that I play in. I could see where they wouldn't be enough for Larger spaces but generally those will have a house PA. The rig has plenty of volume and is clean and clear. I love the fact that the K10s are 23 lbs (compared to my old 15" JBLs that were 65 lbs) so I don't throw my back out hoisting them up onto speaker stands. I run the tops switched to the Ext Sub setting and the Ksub in normal, and it has plenty of thump, to the point I have actually been asked to turn down the volume by staff.

Actually, I'm not sure. However, after thinking about it, we have a no selling policy on the forum. A seller could get around that, by posting on ebay, and then putting a link here. So now it makes sense to me. I will look to clarify, so that I can make the correct call.

I guess because of this

@derwoodski yes i have had a play around with the dsp, sounds better with K12s set to EXT Sub when using the KW181 but without the bass bin, setting to deep gives a lovely deep bass from the K12s
