been using v7 decided to go live with 8 sat night.After about 7 min my lights on the ns7 stared going crazy i.e. blinking or just staying on but no problem with my sliders and it didn't affect the song.Still thought it was a good idea to switch back to v7 any ideas what might have caused this issue?

Shouldn't be any real difference. Not should what could cause this so you will need to do a bit more testing.

Will do more testing.Thought maybe my rig doesn't have the power to run the ns7 with v8

The motorized platters do hog a bit of resource but if it works with 7 then there's no reason it wouldn't be the same with 8.

yup I turn off the platters.I have a junior high dance tonight will try it out at the beginning see what happens

Try resetting your mapping in version 8 to factory default in case something has gone wrong there.
