Are you using the ASIO drivers from the CDJ's?
Can you post a screenshot of your sound settings?
It sounds like you may have a latency issue.

Read the VDJ manual first of all. that would be a good start for you.

It's not so much how to use vdj I need, it's more audio related, as soon as I plug the laptop in the speakers crackle.
I had it set up with traktor and had
No crackle but now I have vdj it's noisy the minute I load up the laptop.

First, I am assuming you are trying to use the CDJ-400's as the sound cards.
The ASIO drivers can be downloaded from Pioneer's support site.
ASIO4ALL is for devices that do not have ASIO drives but software requires them. They should not be used with VDJ.
I am assuming your using Virtual DJ 8
Page 90 of the user guide gives some examples on audio setup.
And a link to CDj-400 Audio settings.

Get rid if the ASIO4ALL drivers and download the proper drivers for your cdjs.
What is your latency set at?? Can you post a screen shot of your sound setup page??

To restore it back to before I started all this. So I have reinstalled vdj and had a quick try and the crackling was still there, I'll try the points you have both listed and let
You know.

Think I've pretty much sorted it, slight interference but will play with the audio settings for that and post a screen shot if I struggle,
I am looking to upgrade to the latest vdj, where is the best place to buy it from, there own website or is there somewhere else with more reasonable prices.?
Thanks

inthink the price is very reasonable.

Especially when you compare the cost of other software and their additional costs for required hardware or add on's for features already included in VDJ.
