Purchased monthly subscription. tried virtualDj 8 would not work froze. Tried vurtialDj 7. could only get the free version. My OS is Vista. What do i need to do??

Upgrade to Windows 7 perhaps (or 8 or 8.1 or 10).
However, I doubt that Vista is completely to blame. You've not mentioned the spec of your computer.
Personally, I've run VDJ 8 on a netbook (Atom CPU) with Windows XP and had no issues.
In order for anyone to help you get to the bottom of the issue, you'll have to provide more info than simply saying "froze".

I run Vista with no problems. I also had a monthly subscription, but not anymore.
