First you need vdj pro
Second check if you controller have sound card(if does) your on it)
Third buy from vdj vinyl timecodes.
Good luck fella......

the least expensive would be a Maya44 soundcard(your g4v is not capable) and a mixer. But really I would think of best value, I had the maya44 and have decided that bus powered wasn't as reliable A/C powered.(for me). I would purchase a mixer with a built in 4/4 audio interface.
What is your budget...the maya44 and a decent mixer could cost $100 total. Depends on your budget.

I really dont hv a budget. I wanna get rid of the Controller all together but not exactly sure what all I need. Was looking at the xone 23.. hv t62's alrdy and I guess I will need to upgrade to vdj pro but thinking there has to b a economical way.. I'm searching internet and just seem overwhelming. The controller was simple, plug and play

What's your reason behind switching to turntables?

Thats a great mixer then add an interface could make the price from 350 and up. If it was my decision I would look for midi controls on the mixer, such as the Traktor Z2 599. gives you control and interface built in. Also the DJ-Tech DIF-1M is Good choice at 199-299 is another great choice, But if you have the money the Pioneer DJM-S9 in the best 2channel dvs mixer at this point. 1699 tho...

I couldn't get a feel for the jog wheels. Not like I know the difference since I haven't used turntables either but it just seen too small for my hands. I like the cue point ease of use but just doesn't feel right.

Ok, thanks for the advise. I'll be checking the forums regularly. .

If I go with the xone23c, which has the sound card built in, then I would need to buy the control vinyl and upgrade to vdj pro, correct?
